If you're reading this, then you probably have spent a significant amount of time on the internet, and if you have spent a significant amount of time on the internet, then you probably have a FB profile. You love connecting and re-connecting with people, having friends, and wishing everyone Happy Birthday.[when pre-Facebook, you wouldn't remember when anyone's Birthday is.] Status Updates, now here is something w completely indulgent, simply because we can now. See this is acceptable on Facebook : X is dreaming of movie theather popcorn. When pre-Facebook and pre-Twitter, we wouldn't notify ANY of our friends of such little details in out life. Imagine that .. doesn't sound so well ..don't you think?
But when you first satrted on Facebook, were you like me, did you go on a flurry of all these comments not knowing that Facebook's default settings is put on FULL ON STALKER MODE!So every comment you make ( comment on a note, a photo album ,a video , or a discussion board) is for all eyes to see? That's right, I mean I realize that Facebook is all about letting people know what you're up to, but I have to say that I am a little embarrased that I made a ton of comments that fulled my friends' News Feeds.Their entire page is filled out with annoying news annoucements regarding people that they probably don't know.Who cares?
Imagine this Facebook activity in a literal sense...
So, lesson learned that I actually paied attention to the privacy/stalker settings on Facebook, and hopefully my friends will get fed up with every comment I made!
PS: Don't get me wrong, I LOVE FACEBOOK! Just gotta control the fever, that's all! hehe :-)
Thanks to Christine for some ideas xx
